Logan was raised in Klamath County near Crater Lake in Oregon. He is currently finishing his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging.
He has worked for First Ascent for several years as an alternate guide and a guide on our kid's camp, but this year we are excited to have him as a full time guide. He has been climbing for 14 years and finds traditional climbing, sport climbing and bouldering equally thrilling.
Logan says his #1 focus while out climbing is safety and #2 is to have a great time. He believes that guiding has always been about passing on the spirit of climbing the best he knows how.

He enjoys teaching people that climbing is as much about mind control as it is physical performance.
Logan's hobbies include, not only climbing but, fishing, backpacking, mountain biking, boating and traveling. His most recent travels have taken him to Gorge Du Tarn, France and Mallorca, Spain.
Logan is a certified Wilderness First Responder and is a sponsored climber of Metolius and Boreal. He has plans to be married this summer to his long time girlfriend, Aura.
