Nina (prounounced 9-ah) started several years ago as an assistant guide with First Ascent. Nina has a background working with Northstar in Bend, specializing in outdoor programs for young people. She is a well traveled climber, having just returned from a trip to Thailand. After Thailand, she climbed on the East Coast at the Red River Gorge and has returned to Bend for the summer. Nina is a favorite guide for our Smith Rock Climbing Camp for kids.

Everyone at First Ascent,
I just wanted to thank you for the great trip we had to Smith Rock on Tuesday, August 8th, 2007. Zach and Nina were awesome guides. I couldn't have asked for two better people to introduce my family and friends to outdoor climbing. They were fantastic with both the kids and adults. Helpful, patient, answered all our questions and made the kids feel really safe. We all had the most amazing time and can't wait to come back later this month and climb again!
