Will Howard was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Growing up in the vicinity of the Cascades Mountain Range installed a sense of wonder for the natural world and a desire to spend time in the wilderness climbing peaks, backcountry skiing, and kayaking rivers.
At Prescott College in Arizona he received a degree in both Conservation Biology and Adventure Education. Will has taught for Outward Bound, teaching mountaineering and climbing along the Pacific Coast of the United States for four years, and has taught as an adjunct for Prescott College in the field of Adventure Education.

Throughout the nine years Will has been climbing he has climbed throughout the country as well as internationally, including: New Zealand, Canada, and the U.K. He holds a current Wilderness First Responder certification and has been a resident substance abuse counselor with Northstar. Will's background in climbing and working with kids makes him one of our most popular guides for family groups. .
