WOMEN'S ROCK CLIMBING PROGRAMS
climb with other experienced female rock climbers
If you are a female rock climber (adults only, please) who is interested in teaming up with other women to climb and make new friends, please join us on our extremely popular women's weekly climbing day at Smith Rock. 2008 will mark the beginning of our sixth year together! There is no charge, as it is not a learning situation. You must have prior climbing experience and complete competency in knowing how to belay, how to tie your figure eight knot, how to thread an anchor.
We meet at Redpoint in Terrebonne (at the turnoff to Smith Rock) at 10:00 AM* each and every Tuesday! If you have any climbing equipment please bring it, otherwise just be there! If the weather is questionable, call the shop after 9:00 AM at 923-6207
*Please note that this time may vary seasonally. In the summer we often meet at 1:00 PM so we can climb in the shade in the lower gorge. Call or email before you come.
We have temporarily postponed the women's climbing group. We will convene at a later date. Please stay tuned!
